Twice or more faster marking than single pen models
VM1250 can mark dots twice or more faster with multi-stylus pen (having 4 styli) than single pen models.
The following image shows the speed comparison of the single pen marking and the multi-stylus pen.
(Marked character string: "ABCD1234" / Marked 2D code: 16×16 dots / Space between two characters: 4mm / Dot pitch: 0.5mm)
The multi-stylus pen can mark 4 characters in a row at a time.
* Above image is an example when the multi-stylus pen uses 2 styli in the 2D code marking and 4 styli in the character string marking.
* The multi-stylus pen can mark characters along the circular arc (with single stylus, not four styli).
Gives vibration priority to unworn styli (patented)
VM1250 gives vibration priority to unworn and undamaged styli.
The number of marked characters is counted for each stylus. The vibration priority is given to styli with less number of counts.
By this function, the worn of 4 styli can be averaged. The maintenance frequency will be reduced.
Works though some styli damaged (patented)
Though one or more styli are damaged, the machine can continue marking by remaining unworn styli.
You can operate the machine with fewer styli without break until replacing damaged styli.
* To use this function, specify the damaged styli and register it to the control unit of marking machine.
Though unmarked workpieces are found, by operating the machine it again after replacing the damaged styli and specifying it for the control unit, characters will be marked on the correct space of workpiece.
